MEADOW LANDS, PA, Nov. 7, 2008 Spring Break converted a comfortable pocket trip to victory Friday at The Meadows in the $25,000 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Pace.
With the field reduced by scratches to four, Spring Break and Mike Wilder had little trouble finding the garden spot behind 3-10 favorite Jans Luck, who took them through a torrid three panels in 1:23.1. Spring Break blew by in the stretch, downing Jans Luck by a length in 1:51.4. Chinatown K was an even third.
