Tidewaterdragonfly endured a demanding first quarter of 26.1, but under Dave Palones handling, she steadily widened her lead and scored easily in 1:51.4. The ground-saving Chinatown K was second by 4 lengths, with Bottom Dealer third.
A 4-year-old daughter of Dragon Again-Happy Jinny, Tidewaterdragonfly has amassed earnings of $966,897 in only 35 career starts for trainer Kelly ODonnell and owners David Beachler and Annefuria Singleton.
